There have been a few fights recently, so please keep some things in mind. There are some things you should do if you see a fight, or expect one. You should:
NOT step in
Find a teacher immediately
Try to get people to step away (without physical contact)
NOT record
If you see a fight, keep these things in mind to avoid others from getting hurt or in trouble. It’s most important to keep other people as safe as possible, and stay safe from yourself. Stay away from the fight, maintain a safe distance, and make sure there are teachers there. Other things to keep in mind:
Do not record! It will lead to suspension
Recording can possibly lead to more fights
If you get enough suspensions you may be expelled
You can avoid fights in many ways:
NEVER take physical action against someone
Keep a cool head, and don’t let the bullying get to you
Do not spread gossip or help spread it
Do not threaten or bully anyone
Try to keep everyone feeling safe
