Sunday February 13th, 2022 the Super Bowl LVI kicked off at 6:30pm. Participating in this year's Super Bowl the LA Rams hosted the Cincinnati Bengals. Starting out the pre-game Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made an appearance to introduce both teams and entertain the crowd. Singing the National Anthem was Mickey Guyton. Billie Jean King flipped the coin and the Bengals won the toss.
The Rams scored the first touchdown of the game. At the end of the first quarter the Rams lead 7-3. Making a comeback in the second quarter, the Bengals won the quarter making the score at halftime 13-10 Rams ahead. At halftime performing were the ‘90s hip hop titans. Performing at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show was Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre opened the show and Snoop Dogg joined in. After their opening show, each singer got to shine in the spotlight. After the halftime show, the Bengals received the ball. In the first 15 seconds of the third quarter Tee Higgins scored a 75 yard touchdown for the Bengals. Bringing the score after the third quarter to 20-16 the Bengals have the lead. With 1:25 left in the game Cooper Kupp scores a touchdown for the Rams. Bringing the final score Rams 23 and Bengals 20. The Rams won the 2022 Super Bowl LVI!
